ROBE Lighting - a different company from everyone else

ROBE Lighting was founded 23 years ago in the Czech Republic, and its name comes from the first letters of the city where it had its first headquarters: Roznov (located just 60 km from the Polish border!) and the river that runs through this town: Bequa. Within a few years, the company has made its way into the market, becoming one of the leading providers of solutions for theater, stage and variety. Wherever customers are looking for high-quality, reliable equipment, they will successfully find products with the ROBE brand. However, not everyone knows that Robe started its business with the production of products for other recognized brands on the market, such as Coemar, tas, Sagiter, Future Light, Starway and many others. In total, there were 17 world brands that were produced on the basis of OEM products from our southern neighbors. However, fortunately, at some point in their history, the owners Ladislav Peterek and Josef Walczar made an important decision to create the ROBE brand and stop OEM production. Thus, the business profile changed, and Czech products with the ROBE logo quickly found recognition and a worldwide fan base. Currently, the company is one of the largest companies in our industry with a turnover of more than 100 million euros.

As you can read on their website: "the company's philosophy is the practice of working closely with business partners and end customers, listening to their needs, thoughts, and wishes in order to better understand the market. Our company is based on people that we try to meet as often as possible, if possible face-to-face. We all form a "family" ” so we are happy to listen to all the comments and reviews.”

Robe is one of the most popular brands in the stage industry. Anyone who has had even minimal experience with stage lighting has heard of it. Czech devices work in theaters, cultural centers, music events, events, television, but also appear in most Polish lighting riders. So far, one of the features of these devices has been to design them for a specific purpose, for example, the Robe Pointe is ideal for concert stages, while the Robe T11 Profile is a device designed for the theater
